The Arizona Diamondbacks were trailing 7-3 heading to the bottom of the ninth inning against the Padres on Saturday night. The game ended as an 8-7 D-backs win with only one out having been recorded by the Padres.

Geraldo Perdomo was the hero for the D-backs in the ninth inning, hitting a game-tying triple and scoring the winning run one batter later.

Arizona responded in the bottom half of the seventh drawing back-to-back two-out walks off Jeremiah Estrada. However, Estrada got Marte to ground out to Jake Cronenworth at second base to end the threat and the inning.
