SPRING LAKE, MI - The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Spring Lake rescue, responded to a crash involving a car and a motorcycle on Friday. The crash occurred at about 12:29 p.m., June 13 at the intersection of West Savage and School streets in the Village of Spring Lake.

DETROIT, MI - A Ferndale man was struck while standing in traffic during the early hours of Saturday. The crash occurred at 2:50 a.m. on June 14 along I-94 East near Grand Boulevard in Detroit, according to the Michigan State Police. The 29-year-old lost control of his Ford Mustang and was blocking the left lane, police said.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A 40-year-old male passenger was taken to a nearby hospital and is listed in serious condition.
