Greek yogurt maker Chobani is planning a $1.2 billion factory at the Griffiss Business and Technology Park in Rome.

Chobani will break ground Tuesday on a $1.2 billion natural foods facility at the Triangle site in the Griffiss Business & Technology Park in Rome, officials are expected to announce Tuesday. The plant, when it reaches full capacity, will produce more than 1 billion pounds of dairy products a year on up to 28 production lines.
