In his first season, Nix threw for more yards and more touchdowns than 2024 NFL MVP Josh Allen, leading the Broncos to their first postseason appearance in nearly a decade. It will remain to be seen how Nix performs in the coming seasons, but with his trajectory, it's hard to imagine Walder being accurate in his assessment. Time will tell, indeed.

ESPN's Seth Walder wrote on Monday that, as a bold prediction, he thinks Nix will lose his starting job in 2027 and leave the Broncos at the end of that season.

The Denver Broncos believe they have found their franchise QB in Bo Nix, and it's not hard to see why. After spending a large portion of the season disrespected by the national media, Nix found his rhythm and helped lead a team to a playoff appearance in his rookie season.
