The depth of the Big 12 was on full display in Manhattan, Kansas as the Arizona Wildcats were dealt just their second conference loss of the season on Tuesday n

Kansas State point guard Dug McDaniel led the homecourt Wildcats with 24 points. K-State shot 45.2% while scoring 23 points off 16 UA turnovers. Arizona shot 41.3% overall and kept in the game largely because of its 45-33 rebounding advantage.

K-State won its sixth straight game, and continued its late-season push toward the NCAA Tournament, by handing Arizona its first loss since Jan. 18. After a dismal start to the season, no team in the conference has won more consecutive games than the one that wears lavender uniforms.
