More than 250,000 Honda and Acura vehicles are being recalled by Honda, according to a recall notice posted by the NHTSA.

Hondas are known for being some of the sturdiest vehicles out there, but no automaker is immune to quality control issues. As of June 12, more than 259,000 late-model Honda and Acura units are subject to a recall from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration over a slightly surprising issue.

The Acura MDX and TL and Honda Pilot have been recalled for brake problems. Drivers could inadvertently apply the brakes or not be able to slow the vehicle.
