A pair of American B-52H bombers was escorted by two Japanese F-2 fighter aircraft and two South Korean KF-16 fighter jets during a trilateral flight on Friday.

The warning comes as the US, South Korea, and Japan continue to expand trilateral military exercises in response to Pyongyang’s growing nuclear arsenal.

Russian security chief Shoigu recently said that North Korea will send 6,000 personnel to Russia, including 1,000 combat engineers and 5,000 military builders, to assist in mine clearance and reconstruction efforts in the Kursk region bordering Ukraine.
