Good morning! Thank you for your inquiry. We are happy you are considering joining us for your snorkeling adventure! We do offer to take snorkelers and divers together on the boat, you would be doing the same sites as your partner but with your own snorkel guide (he would have a dive guide with him). Here is a little more information about what we offer for snorkelers: Established in 1993, we are an American owned and operated PADI 5 Star Dive Center. We have a large selection of rental equipment. We cater more towards smaller dive parties taking anywhere from 2-11 divers/snorkelers per boat per trip. We do NOT operate CATTLE BOATS. We want you to feel like you're part of the family. If you would like to see our shop, equipment and boats please visit us on the Manta Divers Facebook page or on our website (please see links below). Our dive shop is conveniently located at the Marina Del Rey, km 16 of the hotel zone (Kukulcan Blvd.). We are on the lagoon side, just across the street from the Grand/Pyramid Oasis hotel. Manta Divers offers a diverse choice of incredible snorkeling sites which are unique to the rich waters of Cancun. The Caribbean is home to the world’s second largest barrier reef, with an over abundance of colorful marine life in crystal clear water. It's like snorkeling in an aquarium! The shallow reefs (Manchones) are located in a protected marine park in front of Isla Mujeres. Cancun is also home to the underwater museum called “MUSA” which was created in 2009 with over 450 sculptures. MUSA is one of the largest underwater art attractions in the world. Manchones/MUSA is very popular due to the large variety of snorkeling locations in such a small area. This shallow area is the best for snorkeling. A guide will be in the water with you at all times and will carry a life preserver buoy in case you get tired. You will see the same thing as the divers, only from the surface. The snorkeling excursion is $52 USD per person (equipment included) and consists of two (40) forty minute snorkeling sessions with a maximum depth of (33) thirty-three feet or (10) ten meters. We have a large selection of rental equipment available in almost any size. This trip departs daily from our marina in Cancun at 12:30 PM. The excursion last approximately 3 ½ hours and consists of two different snorkeling locations. PLEASE NOTE: Snorkelers need to check in no later than 12:00 PM. IMPORTANT NOTICE Manta Divers does NOT currently offer transportation services from your hotel to the shop, however we can offer some tips on quick and convenient ways to travel in Cancun if needed.
