One of the popular places to go for sunset. Easy access and lots of people without getting crowded (laaarge beach). Recommended Full review by Birgitta-Kenneth

Peaceful place if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of commercial Street . Beautiful sand dunes and greenery along the way. Full review by Travel17013571221

We went there to experience the sunset. It was beautiful. We also were able to see dozens of seal! Amazing! Swimming twenty feet off the shore. Full review by S7635DBdavidk

Questions & answers

Q:
Do they have any kayaking service there ?
A:
I didn’t any. They have warnings and advise not going in the water. It’s too dangerous with the great white sharks.

Q:
Can you bring your own kayak there and if so what is the best drop in point?
A:
I’ve never seen Kayaks in this area, which I would think is due to the surf, seals and Great White sharks that frequent the entire National Seashore. I see a lot of kayaks on the bayside.
Q:
Can you still get a pass to drive on the beach at race point ?
A:
Yea. As listed in previous answer. Beaches may have limited times. Have fun it's beautiful!
Q:
Are there bathhouses and snack bars on the beach? Also we’re going there after Labor Day do they still charge for parking?
A:
The parking was payable - $20 per day but you can go to all the beaches for that.
