I am extremely disappointed with our recent stay at Buffalo Outdoor Center RV Park in Ponca, Arkansas. After a 7.5-hour drive, we arrived on June 29, 2024, eager to enjoy a week-long stay. Unfortunat… Full review by Jill M

What a fantastic experience! The setting was stunning, and the zipping was exhilarating, however, the guides (Chris and Andrew) were what made this an outstanding, first-rate, activity to do. They we… Full review by Leah0836

I stayed in cabin number four This place is actually pretty good. The biggest complaint I had was that the Wi-Fi sucked but maybe not completely their fault. A little hard to watch anything on th… Full review by Jon M

They have about 20-30 cabins total, they list them on there web site along with photos of the inside and out telling what each one has. For restaurant there is one called Low Gap which does not look like much on the outside but the food is great. Otherwise you would have to drive further for any thing else, Low Gap is located on the road going to Jasper which is a beautiful drive along the Buffalo River.
Are there any Trip Advisor online reviews about the canopy tour/zipline?

Tricia, there are a few that are mingled in with our other reviews, which means you have to scroll through all 83! I can say that we've never had anything but great reviews on the zip line, whether on Facebook or Trip Advisor. Here's one I was able to find from the fall of 2013: "I am not much of an adventurer but this was AWESOME! If someone had told me about climbing the tower at zip line 1, I might have backed out:) But if you can get past the first one, you will have a blast. The staff was great and made you feel so safe and comfortable. The views are just amazing and I would do this zip line again." I know I'm partial, Tricia, but these remarks are truly indicative of the feedback we receive. Please don't hesitate to call us at 870-861-5514 for some one-on-one feedback from our staff, most of whom have been on the tour and can speak to it first-hand. And, thank you for your question!
My husband is battling a serious illness. I would love to treat he and I and our 4 adult kids to a weekend of solitude and beauty. I see that the weekend of Oct 17 & 18 seems pretty booked. I would like to have access to hot tub for all of us to relax under the stars with a great view off the back deck. Can you please recommend the best room (for 6) and or time to see the leaves during this time? Prefer a weekend if possible. Sincerely, kymberlyk

Kymberly, fall color here tends to turn on the most mid-October through the first few days of November, although, honestly, prime color can occur anytime between about Oct 10 - Nov 6. Regarding a cabin that works for 6 adults, it rather depends on your family's preferences in terms of privacy. I would suggest that you call our office staff (they're quite helpful) at 800-221-5514 for help with making a cabin choice that right's for your group. You might start with asking them about the Balloon Cabin, Windridge, Mountain Breeze and Compton Mountain cabins. Those cabins all comfortably host 6 adults and offer varying degrees of privacy and shared or private bathroom arrangements. I am sorry for the delayed response...I manage our Trip Advisor page and have been gone, in part on vacation and in part tending to my mother who has a variety of serious health issues. I am truly sorry for your husband's illness; Mom has dealt with massive health issues for five years and I appreciate first-hand how not only the ailing person suffers, but how it begins to take its toll on everyone's energy closely connected to the individual. Again, our office staff is top notch and eager to help so that you don't have to think too hard. :) You probably have to do enough of that. By the way, the elk herd in Ponca will be an added enjoyment for your group. All you have to do is drive along the road and park to enjoy some of America's finest wildlife watching. :) And, thank you for your inquiry! -Rhonda Mills / BOC
